Yelken CMS

Supercharged CMS Experience built by Yelken. Now in Alpha version.

GitHub Repo

Yelken CMS Alpha describes itself as a Secure by Design, Extendable, and Speedy Next-Generation Content Management System (CMS). Similar to WordPress, it delivers a traditional CMS experience by serving both as a content repository (backend) for you and a presentation layer (frontend) for your users.

Yelken CMS features many built-in capabilities. To speak of them, it features localization, an advanced permission system, theme support, a powerful templating system, and structured content management. Yelken CMS is also not constrained by these features and can be extended with additional plugins.

Secure by Design

Yelken CMS's highest priority is keeping itself from being infected by malicious user input or a malicious plugin.

Sanitizing every incoming request to the system and running plugins in a sandbox with limited access provides a secure environment for users.

Thanks to Yelken CMS's advanced permission system, plugins can only perform operations they are authorized to.

Extendable

By utilizing WebAssembly System Interface (WASI), Yelken CMS allows plugins to interact with itself over a defined interface.

Additionally, it enables developers to use their favorite programming languages to develop plugins, such as low-level languages C, C++, and Rust, or high-level languages JavaScript and Python.

Speedy

Yelken CMS is designed to require very low computing resources and serve requests quickly. To accomplish that, it is written in the Rust programming language with high performance in mind.

It offers unmatched performance with low latency and high throughput in request handling.

Source Code Available

The source code of Yelken CMS is available on GitHub, and it is freely accessible to everyone.
